Roller skating and jumping

I look back over my blog and see what a mismatch of things I post about and today is no different!!
Above is the promised picture from my three lens camera - sorry I took a photo of it but I will try and get some scanned in ( well I will ask Manny if he can make his super duper computer go back in time so it can run the pre-historic scanner! technology it isn't simple!) See how it takes each shoot slightly after the other - I think it could be really fun - I will be doing some more experimenting soon.

Another car boot find - and one of my favourite so far. I have always wanted to be able to roller skate, it has to be proper roller skates and not blades. I have bidded on ones on ebay but they have always sold for a lot more than I wanted to pay, I have found childrens ones in charities shops but never the right size. But then on Sunday, as we were leaving I spotted these perfect skates - I practically ran over to them, forgetting all the car boot rules and checked the size, perfect - my size. So I tried to cancel out my earlier running by seeming a bit disinterested and asked how much they were. You have guessed it they a bargain at £3 I put them under my arm and handed over my money as quickly as possible and walk off with a proud smile! All the way home Manny and I laced bets on how soon I would fall over (I am very clumsy and have very little balance!) and the possible injuries I would gain!

It might not look like I am moving but I was - possibly slower than a walking pace but I was moving!! I went out twice that day and am planning on lots more practice soon!

Vintage film cameras

This is a photo heavy post of all my film cameras - most of them vintage! The collection has grown a lot over the past few months!

I mainly collect the different types of kodak brownies, and have 8 in my collection so far!

I love this one - it is tiny!

These two are much newer - the below one takes 3 shoots at once - on one photo - I have just got a film developed I will show you how the pictures come out - they are really fun!

The button is my most recent purchase from the car boot on Sunday - it set me back £2! The most I have paid is £4.99 but most of them I get for about £2

Camera collection

My camera collection has increased quite a bit recently! I have been lucky in a camera shop and at a car boot!

I added 2 more brownie cameras to my collection!
I really love the below one - one to just look good though - it is really difficult to find any film that isn't 35mm so I am now on the look out for cameras that take 35mm (and I can't resist a brownie!)

Brownie, roast, park

This is my new Kodak brownie camera - my dad gave it to me today, it used to be his (and his famils) when he was younger and he found it at my grans house, knowing I have started collecting old cameras he gave it to me! It still has all the instructions and everything.  They have been looking for film for it but haven't found any - I am doing a few searches online - ebay seems to be the best bet so far!

This evening all I wanted was a roast - so a roast happened! Nutloaf, sin on roasties and mash, parsnips, carrots, sprouts and the all important yorkshires - it was delicious!

After all that food (I actually couldn't eat it all) I went out for a walk and found this park hidden away in some trees. There is also a giant tyre swing! I had a little play and on the way home got a bit adventurous and climbed a tree (well getting 2 ft of the ground is climbing it, isn't it?) I was lucky there was no-one else about so I didn't have to share the park - I love ones like this - I don't care that I am not suppose to play on them - they are fun!

Hope you have all had good weekends!
