Cherry and sultana scones, and a little bit of cream

I have seen scones everywhere at the moment, I am not a fan of the shop bought fan so out came the baking gear and I made some cherry and sultana ones! They rose quite well (not always the case) so I was very happy with this.

I also made some chocolate biscuits - there was left over strawberries and cream so it happened, it would of been rude not to!

I have been following Kaylah at the dainty squid for quite some time now and really enjoy her posts. Well she had some new nail stickers and I thought I could give them a go, above are my first attempt and below I tried out a different style on my friend!

  1. Your scones look delicious. I've been meaning to make scones for a while but haven't got round to it, but I made a carrot cake and a lemon drizzle cake on Thursday which I've eaten more than I should have, and seeing as I should be on a diet at the moment, I'd better not make anything else. Your nails look fantastic, I never get round to doing anything with mine.

  2. Hi Faye just popped over. Thanks for the nomination :)
Your scones look absolutely delicious and I love the nails their great. Enjoy whats left of the weekend. Ali x

  3. hello Faye
I am your newest follower and I found you via Katie's blog Booty-ful things.
Great photos but too real and too tempting....I must even look at them :-)
Very snazzy nails my maximum is a little something decorative on my little finger.....daren't do more.
Well I'm off to look around some more...perhaps you'd like to pop over to my blog when you can. I am a crochet addict but I also keep myself out of mischief doing other things.

    Amanda :-)
